BECOMING A SPECTACULAR SPEAKER/PRESENTER
Once you have decided that being an “Inspirational Speaker” (as a example) is your calling, then become an expert – one of the best in the business – a “must have” when the topic of “Inspirational Speakers” comes up.
Knowing a lot about inspiring people is valuable, but is isn’t enough. You want to become the leading expert in your field.
Learn at least 5 techniques for inspiring people. Then develop a unique, enthusiastic style of delivering each one. Be bold in your delivery and personal with your audience.
Be direct – humorous – sincere and most of all - be informative. Remember, you need to outline the personal advantages to them in developing the skills you are recommending. If you don’t deliver with enthusiasm and sincerity they will not achieve the courage level required to create new strategies of living their lives. If you are less that enthusiastic and sincere in your desire to help others achieve serious and important gains in their life you will not succeed. In any area of public speaking your motive has to be speaking and teaching for the benefit of the audience. To do less is to be recognized as a charlatan and will sabotage your efforts.
