As you know, I've made the tough decision to commit American troops
into harm's way. It's the toughest decision a President can ever
make, but I want you to know that I tried diplomacy -- in other
words, a President has got to be able to say to the American people,
diplomacy didn't work.

harbor a terrorist you're just as guilty as the terrorist.
I can look you in the eye and tell you I

no matter where they sit on the political spectrum, Germans are --
just don't like war. And I can understand that.
I was not pleased that Hamas has refused
to announce its desire to destroy Israel.
I'm
the decider, and I decide what
is best. And what's best is for Don Rumsfeld to remain as the
Secretary of Defense.
If the Iranians were to have a nuclear
weapon they could proliferate.
