**Tips on how to develop a no-lose plan in establishing, achieving and sustaining goals**

  • Create a goal board. Write all of your goals down. Use pictures to illustrate what you want to accomplish.
  • Place your goal list where you can see it often (bathroom, refrigerator, the visor in your car, on your computer at work.
  1. Work on your goals daily.
  • Each day include an item from your goal list on your "things to do" sheet.
  • Create a reward system. Reward every step you take toward achieving your goals.
  • Create a chart to monitor your progress.
  • Use role models to inspire and motivate you.
  • Create a support system with family, friends, special interest groups, etc.
  • Recognize that any "failure" is just a lesson to be learned. Use a reward or an inspirational pick-me-up to keep going after suffering a setback.

There is nothing preventing you from having everything you want out of life – except you.

  • If I were to die today, would I be satisfied with the way I am living my life right now?

  • Consider you dreams as indicators of where to go in your life
  • Make a concious decision to move forward and make your dreams a reality
  • Choose goals that will improve the quality of your life
  • Get clear about exactly what it is you desire
  • Decide to raise your standards
  • Acknowledge that your life has definite purpose

Create a list of your goals to bring yourself out of the dream stage into the reality of creating success.

  • Make a list of all the goals you want to accomplish
  • Prioritize these goals beginning with the one you would like to accomplish first
  • Create a simple outline of each goal – what you need to do to achieve it
  • Create a time frame for each goal
  • Break the goal down into the smallest steps possible and prioritize them, choosing the easiest steps to work on first

  • Keep a list of your goals where you will see it several times a day
  • Create a goal board – include pictures and key words, i.e. happiness, love, self-respect, wealth, self-esteem, freedom
